This is the third of a series of short videos of making a batch of porcelain clay in a 10 gallon bucket has slip. Today John is adding the silica and the feldspar. This batch is taking 9.1 pounds of silica and 4.9 pounds feldspar. This batch is still really watery and so tomorrow, after the batch mixes for at least an hour, I will screen it through a 100 mesh sieve. I can tell that there are a lot of little things floating around in it already. I think they are mostly organic things like leaves.
